The Caterham Super 7 R Type is the fastest legal road certified car available almost anywhere in the World. 0 - 60mph in UNDER 3 seconds. Powered by a 1300ccs 285bhp, dry sump, turbo charged, Suzuki Hayabusa engine, the R Type road model includes a 6-speed sequential gearbox, separate reversing gearbox, digital fuel injection and ignition and full all-weather equipment. Based on the new Caterahm CSR chassis, the R Type has inboard front suspension and fully independant rear suspension. The larger SV chassis allows for the utmost comfort and space. The ultimate high perfomance sports car, the R Type combines unmatched speed and handling with the traditional elegance of the Super 7’s long heritage. Most options are included with the R Type package, including Vented large diameter front brakes with 4 piston AP Racing Alloy calipers, Limited Slip Differential, 15x7 10 spoke alloy wheels with AVON CR500 tires, Leather seats, Digital gear position indicator, Quick release MOMO steering wheel, and paint to clients choice. A full range of options are also available, if required.
